FAQs

How does E.C.E.L. choose which charities or organizations to support?

When an organization hires East Coast Evolution Leadership for a service-leadership team builder, it is given the option to select either a charitable organization to support or a community service project to participate in. Suppose the organization has no particular preference. In that case, E.C.E.L defers to supporting causes that have a close impact on the community where it is based, such as the New Hampshire Food Bank.

Is E.C.E.L. a Nonprofit?

No. East Coast Evolution Leadership is an LLC partnership with a heart for community engagement and service.

Do you only serve New Hampshire?

No! E.C.E.L. is happy to work with anyone, and with companies, organizations, or communities in need of growth and development training or compassionate operations management, in any location.

We would love to extend our Operations Management Services to other municipalities along the East Coast (and beyond) that struggle with winter warming centers and emergency shelter management each year.

What exactly do you mean by “Compassionate Operations Management?”

Our staff must treat every one of our guests and clients, from the unhoused to the CEO of a major corporation, with dignity and respect. We train our team to understand the difference between being “nice” and being “kind.” Being nice is easy. It is basic decency that might make someone feel comfortable, but it does not look out for their best interest. Being kind takes effort. It requires accountability, care, and concern for the general well-being of the person that you are working with. Nice leaves people where they are. Kindness helps them reach new potential. Our Compassionate Operations Management is rooted in kindness.

Are you hiring?

We are always interested in receiving resumes from facilitators and leaders in the field who are interested in learning more about E.C.E.L. and how they might be involved in joining our team.

Occasionally, we post positions for our winter warming and shelter staff positions. These are usually found on Indeed.
